Summer BBQ :)
Summer is a time of festivals, fireworks, grilling, and the sea. It is tourist season in the summer, so many people come to Rhode Island (RI) to enjoy the local food and New England feeling. Every morning, fisherman will catch lobster, a local shellfish that the Native Americans called called "quahog", and various fish like cod and tuna. Recently, it was Independence day, and RI has the oldest July 4th parade in the country. But I have a secret...I don't like fish! It's a good thing we can make hot dogs, sausages, steak, chicken and hamburgers on the grill too!! But if you like seafood, RI is your seafood heaven! I promise to tell you all about the traditional styles of making seafood in RI! stay tuned!
